USA 2008 - 30.03.2008

We have the big coastal cities left behind and set off towards Yosemite. This time we have mastered the line well and processes are not as bad as some years ago ;-)

The weather was a bit unsettled, but actually was the very charming. You have to dress only fitting, then has this been going. We enjoyed the park today has even dropped a lot better than it was three years ago and we had to see the feeling a lot more. Besides nature it did to us especially the many small beautiful hotels. So come on the list for next time! Overall, we were

11 hours on axis, so the report is here correspondingly short, but the images speak for themselves :-)

after us in terms of car no longer afraid, since we survived LA, we have decided today to take the city tour in San Francisco into their own hands. In preparation for a book about the 49-Mile Drive was purchased, read and processed.

After breakfast at the IHOP (synonym for insanity in the morning) we went off. First, the direction of Presidio, the military / naval district of San Francisco. Then across the Golden Gate Bridge, on the other side where we found a small cache and a new view point discovered.

Golden Gate Bridge (and demonstration of the hot-lens along with new SLR * g *)

and especially those who never came back ...
for personal reasons, an important place.

Back on the side of San Francisco we drove along the beaches and the Golden Gate Park with the beautiful Japanese tea house and the extensive botanical garden dipped before we enjoyed the view from Twin Peaks have. Back we went through the Castro district (kunterbund, cosmopolitan and gay) and after a long search (how can a single street only hide so well??) By the Lombard Street down until we were on site at the Wharf.

We are then again there to our favorite restaurant, have shirts, Hootie and bought the Hard Rock Café Plektra for Kerstin, a CD for LH, and a pin for the collection (and to the delight still get an extra pin to which it is not for sale).
Next time we fly once a week only must be San Francisco so much time :-)

How To Spike Hair Like Dahvie

USA 2008 - 28.03.2008

Our first day in San Francisco and am equal to the ship to participate in the Alcatraztour. Once again it has pleased us well on the island and it was this time all very well prepared, so that we could take along with our repeat visitors something new.

After the tour today was not much on the program. LH is again driven cable car, my hats pulled over to the hotel where we then met again in the evening and another long round are drawn around the houses.

Even a Bummeltag must be :-)

comfort is everything and thanks for all the fish!

Good Ways To Masterbait

USA 2008 - 27.03.2008

After a quick round of the Safeway located close to the hotel (must be today), we set out towards Monterey and for national 17-Mile Drive.

a bit skeptical about where we were before, whether it would be worth it to pay for a more scenic road transit fees, but had since we have time and so something has to be some truth to the reputation of these routes, we are bent on Hwy 1 and by the Entrancegate down. And how's it there now? One almost wants to say again: no words! Simply brilliant. Beautiful. Indescribable. Once. Shortly before we had thought we would like to live in Caramel. Now our dream home about 10 miles to the north has moved. Unique and beautiful homes in coastal forests located, the coast itself and the five local golf courses (sometimes known as the SF W. wink) have brought about this decision. Now we probably need only a donation of about $ 30 million ;-)

Lone Cedar

was then a small trip to Monterey to Cannery Row on the program, because of us acute parking shortage has quite annoyed. Letzenendlich wars but still quite nice (but not a must have for us in the future).

the early evening we arrived in San Francisco and are from our hotel, situated just off the Wharf this time, did not stop eating. Fish and garlic. A common mixture and incredibly delicious ;-)

ps: today I have been my biggest U.S. shopping wish is granted * click * ;-)

What Happens If You Take Expired Mucle Drinks

USA 2008 - 26.03.2008

This day took us to Hwy _endlich_ first What can I say more? One could write books about the track, but the hundreds of authors have done before us ;-)

short words: it was beautiful! The weather dazzling, go contrary to our assumptions, hardly anyone (!) That sea, many flowers, many animals and basically a perfect holiday. was

Accidentally Used Cats Insulin Needle

USA 2008 - 25.03.2008

LA We have left behind us. Of course not, without our classified in the mandatory morning mega-jam. Finally it goes north, and thus the temperature drop very rapidly (about 37 ° C are well on the snow in Germany, but too hard), so that the outdoor living pleasant.

First we drove to Santa Barbara, where we looked at the mission station. This mission is one of the largest on the West Coast and offers very good insight into the history of California.

Santa Barbara Mission

Then we drove to Santa Barbara in and ate in a nice little garden restaurant for lunch. The accidental discovery of this restaurant was a hit, because we have never been better Lemonade and a great Caesar Salad eaten (not even at its point of origin).

Thus fortified, we have opened ourselves to go a little anachronistic. Anachronistic and not quite of this world, one should say: we were in Solvang. This little place that is not in the rest of the coast, is a company founded by Danish village, where all the houses look like any Danish.

Interview Questions On Equity

USA 2008 - 24.03.2008

And what are we to take?

-> White, red and black cars are bad for movies.

-> Emergency Room is made of cardboard and plywood.

-> You can let people grow old with brutal false light and make right with the young.

-> Luke's Café from Gilmore Girls is now, "Luke's Dojo" (because GG is turned off).

-> Jennifer Aniston herumzupopeln had good reasons in "Friends" always on her arm.

-> And anyway, is a studio a much cooler thing than people das ohnehin schon denkt.

Valentines Life Size Bear

USA 2008 - 23.03.2008

morning we are in bright sunshine from the hotel set off at the airport and drove to the Getty Center. The Getty interested me ever since it opened ten years ago and LH was very curious to see how it is now for real. We are therefore driven to the north and from the Getty's own exit from the freeway directly into the local park. Since the Getty Center is located on one of the hills of LA, you have the choice as one might come up there: on foot (quite long), with its own electric tram or, in case that does not given, with small shuttle buses. We were lucky to take the tram. Above we were surprised for two reasons: it was still pretty empty and the buildings and gardens in reality.

Shortly after our arrival, we concurred with one of the garden tours, which mainly deals with the general architecture of the garden, the underlying concept, the plants used, the interaction between buildings and plants and Gardening. Friendly way one could also borrow the same local sun umbrellas, without that, it certainly would have in the blazing sun in the gardens had some problems. We liked the lead in any case very well.

Wir kommen also gerne wieder beim nächsten Mal.

How Long To Mail A Letter To Honduras

USA 2008 - 22.02.2008

morning at 6:00 clock us time and our shuttle picked us after we had not slept the previous night, brought very quickly to our first goal. Also, the check-in at the airport ran quite quickly, albeit with the usual question-answer games and we were able to go on time at 9.30 clock on board the machine to Atlanta. But then came the

first little "fun" of the day. Especially for people with fear of flying.

were in Atlanta the immigration and customs controls very easily. Much easier at least than three years ago and even though we had completely read and heard to the contrary. So we have our stop over place in the queue entry in the shops spent in the airport. Because Easter is, and because we always find an excuse that we have at Brookstone (travel goods of all kinds) some nice little things practical concern ;-).

The connecting flight to LA was too late then, but as with the first flight, the pilot subsequently recovered well, so that we ended up absolutely on schedule. LA for night landing is simply crazy beautiful!

In LA then have picked up yet in our car rental and are then driven to the Radisson at the airport where we are generally very pleased after 26 hours of arrival into our beds. Any beds? Not so! Sleep Number! I love the things ;-).

Metronidazole And Trying To Fall Pregnant

USA 2008 - Before Departure II

paws

clock is now 23.00, it has become and we are packing (in theory) on eagerly. In fact, we have

before the beginning of the week for the evening cold Asked bottle of champagne (thanks again to LHs Mom for the late New Year's gift) is opened and combine this with Flammkuchen. Currently we are both tired, in order to be able to really concentrate. We will, therefore, go through the night and early tomorrow before the luggage mountains are concentrated
;-) I personally ask me, but today, if we perhaps had a slightly bigger car to rent. Well, maybe have the other's just a handbag ;-)

Btw. I had previously written something like: the cat is asleep happy and satisfied? Really? Since I was obviously not at the mailbox and has not had the Easter greetings from Konstanz in their hands, "which had co-signed" the fur nose. LHs Mom has red paint on him, namely a Paw made and wanted to bring such a mark on the map. The impression only recognize people who are dedicated to ... the red traces he left on his flight, decorate the home half Constance * lol *. We are only at the information can still chuckling .... Schadenfreude? Not yet ;-)

How To Tell When Scorpio Loses Interest

USA 2008 - Before departure I

A day before the flight and is slow to spread out the long-feared chaos. Although a case is already packed ready, but is probably too heavy and will probably have to be opened so again, so that parts can be repackaged. Two other case wait for the things that come there. Fortunately, one of the least what the baggage Lienienflügen As for fools freedom: 2 x 22 kg, one piece of hand baggage at 18 pounds and a "personal item". My personal item is my foam cushion that I need to find somewhere over the Atlantic sleep. At the thought I hold myself just realized: sleep and awake at the coast of Canada will see below us. fly on the beautiful coast to the South down, because then begins the holiday.

is the moment, though by no holiday in sight. The whole table, and any other available storage space is full of odds and ends: two cameras, a video camera, the navigation (ie we have the version with the North cards and take it so), several boxes of medicines, books, charger, sunglasses, photographic accessories such as panels, batteries, tripods, etc. ... everything piles up and wants to be somewhere packed. When possible so that the case then after the X-ray image does not look like a giant Elektonikbauteil.

Afterwards we have to buy even for short children chocolate. Because it is so popular over there. And by the way is the phone rang, as alternately call our two fellow travelers and get one last question (as it always is definitely the * last * g).

Only one family member will certainly go totally good: our cat. The sleep safe and happy in Konstanz can fly and the carpets, if he chases his virtual enemies. Sometimes it is really to be envied, the little ;-)
